Sustainability - Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

The KSC Environmental Management System (EMS) is a Center-wide program for identifying and evaluating environmental risk and benefits from Center activities, products and services. The EMS provides a framework for planning and implementing actions to reduce risk and realize benefits. The EMS helps assure compliance with environmental laws and regulations and provides a system for continual improvement of environmental performance.

KSC’s contract partners support KSC’s EMS through their environmental programs and EMSs, many of which are ISO 14001-certified.
